Common questions
How do I crop a photo to a square?
Set the ratio to 1:1. The frame stays square however you drag it, so all that is left is choosing what ends up inside.
Does the quality change?
No. What is left in the frame is not resampled — those pixels move over from the original as they are. Only the frame size and the file weight change.
Why can't I crop several pictures at once?
Shots are rarely the same size, and one frame for all of them would cut blindly. Going file by file, you see every result.
Which formats can be cropped?
JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, GIF. You get the file back in the format it came in.
